Supervision

How I Work:

I hold an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision, including Online and Telephone Working.

In my supervision practice, I draw on Shohet and Hawkins’ seven-eyed model and incorporate elements of the Integrative Development Model. These frameworks guide me in supporting supervisees at different stages in their professional life.

I offer a respectful, supportive space where you can reflect on your clinical work, receive constructive feedback, and foster both personal and professional growth.

With warmth and without judgement, I aim to create an open and collaborative relationship. Together, we will keep the client at the heart of our discussions while focusing on your development as a therapist and deepening your awareness of ethical practice.

You will be encouraged to engage in thoughtful reflection, explore the impact of your work on yourself, and approach challenges with curiosity. I will offer gentle yet appropriate challenge to help you raise and work through any concerns you may encounter in your client work.

My Background:

I’m a qualified counsellor, my core training is person- centred and I integrate elements of other models such as CBT, TA, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy and Solution-focused therapy in line with the needs of clients.

I offer counselling to adults both face-to-face and online in my private practice and am also an associate for an EAP provider. My experience includes volunteering in the charity sector, working on an IAPT contract as an e-Therapy Co-ordinator, and over three years as a Counselling Co-ordinator, where I managed the day-to-day operations of a busy counselling service, co-facilitated therapeutic and psychoeducational groups, and supported counselling students.

I have worked alongside clients experiencing a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, work-related stress, loss and trauma.

I am a member of the BACP and follow their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
What I Offer:

Sessions of 60 or 90 minutes are available on a fortnightly or monthly basis and either online via Zoom or face to face in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire.
